Over time the joints between paving slabs and stones can begin to fail due to weather, regular use and natural wear. When this happens, weeds can grow between the joints and slabs may start to loosen or move.
Before repointing begins, the patio or driveway is thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, moss and debris. Existing mortar or sweep-in jointing materials are then removed and the surface carefully prepared.
Our liquid cement pointing system is then applied across the surface and worked into the joints using specialist tools. The material flows into the gaps and begins to set, creating strong, even joints across the entire patio or driveway. Any excess is carefully rinsed away, leaving a clean and consistent finish.
Please Note that if sealing is required, the surface should normally be left for around 12 months after pointing to allow salts to disperse fully.
